Create drills/trenches in your soil so the seeds are approx half and inch deep
Sow seeds approx. 4 inches apart
Space rows approx. 12 inches apart
Cover the seeds and gently pat down to firm the soil
Seeds take approx. 2 weeks to germinate before seedlings appear through the soil
After about 8 weeks, the plants should be approx. 8 inches tall, with the beginnings of the beetroots appearing on the surface of the soil
Water regularly to keep the soil moist
Both the root vegetable and the leaves can be harvesting for eating
