How to Grow Kale

Planting & Care Instructions:

    Sow direct outdoors in Early Spring for a Summer Crop, or late Summer for an Autumn Crop
    Make even rows, spaced 18 inches apart, approx 1cm deep
    Sprinkle the seeds evenly along your trench
    Cover with compost, pat down and water
    Once seedlings emerge, thin them out to be approx 18 inches apart
    If sown indoors, harden then off by gradually bringing them outside for longer periods of time in the day for a week and then transplant
    Harvest leaves when fully grown by snapping them off at the base of the stem
