How do I request reimbursement under the Garden Guarantee?

If your Plot or belongings are damaged by a Greenfinger or their invitee during the rental of your AllotMe Plot, you may be eligible for reimbursement of up to £3,000 GBP under AllotMe's Garden Guarantee.

Here’s how to request reimbursement for property damage:

 

  1. Gather evidence of the damage: This may include photos, videos, estimates, and/or receipts.

  2. Contact the guest and AllotMe: Within 14 days of the Greenfinger’s rental end date or before your next Greenfinger begins at your Plot (whichever is earlier), you must notify the guest and AllotMe of the damage. Please notify the Greenfinger by sending a message to the Greenfinger on the AllotMe webapp, clearly stating your intent to file a reimbursement request with AllotMe for damages the Greenfinger has caused. The Greenfinger will have 72 hours to respond to your request.

  3. Get reimbursed or involve AllotMe: If the Greenfinger agrees to pay the full amount requested and sends the payment through AllotMe, we will process the payment and send it to you. If the Greenfinger is unwilling to pay the full amount requested, you may be eligible for reimbursement under AllotMe’s Garden Guarantee. Payment Requests can be submitted through this form.

  4. After the Greenfinger declines your request for full payment through our web app or in correspondence with our Resolution Team, you can proceed to request reimbursement from AllotMe. You must submit the Garden Guarantee Payment Request Form and documentation of the damages within 30 days of the date of loss. Once submitted, a Support Team member will contact you and resolve the request in accordance with the Garden Guarantee Terms and Conditions.

 

 

Things to consider

 

  • AllotMe’s Garden Guarantee is not an insurance policy, and not all property damage caused by Greenfingers is within its terms. Hosts who want more protection are encouraged to purchase personal insurance that will cover property damage not protected by AllotMe’s Garden Guarantee.

 

  • AllotMe’s Garden Guarantee doesn’t provide protection for bodily injury or property damage to guests or others.
